Please Take These Gifts, based from John 6:35, is David Enever’s first offertory song, reflecting on the gift of Jesus’ life we are given. The first part of the song could also be interpreted as a song of thanks, for the gifts we've been blessed with and how we can share them within our communities. It was released at a time where churches just started reintroducing the offertory procession, with COVID restrictions being lifted, allowing these to happen again.
