DEMusic - School Concerts for 2022 (Live & Virtual) now available for bookings

DEMusic School Concerts Update

I am pretty much booked out for the rest of 2022 for performing my school Christian music concerts, so thanks so much to all the schools that have been supporting my music mission 🙏 I'm starting to take bookings now for Fridays during school weeks in 2023 and may even have some Thursdays available (dependant on my teaching load) to perform at schools. If your school, or classes within your school,  are interested in an engaging concert,  please contact me using the contact link below.  You can also check my availability using the corresponding link.

Virtual Dance Along Concerts Now Available!!!

DEMusic is now offering 30 minute, virtual dance along concerts for schools and church groups not based in New South Wales, Victoria and the ACT (where I can perform face to face). So that means both Australia and overseas countires. These can be done via Zoom or other platforms your school use, and are priced at $200 for up to 200 participants (though I can cater for larger audiences, just let me know).

How did these even happen?

When most of Australia was locked down and live music off limits with COVID regulations during 2021, I pivoted towards virtual concerts, using Zoom technology for three schools who trialled it. Two of these were a complete success with good engagement, particularly with the dance along songs, while one school's stream cut out halfway through it as they were experiencing technical problems on their end, so the remaining part of the concert was filmed and sent them with a private YouTube link.

If your church or school, or classes within your school, are interested in  a virtual concert, please contact David using the contact link below.  You can also check his availability using the corresponding link.

About David Enever Music

(DEMusic)

--------------------------------------------------------

Established in 2019 and based from Wagga Wagga, New South Wales, David Enever Music (DEMusic) is run by singer/songwriter David Enever, an Australian primary school teacher with over a decade of experience in Victorian and New South Wales Schools. It aims to assist in Christian faith formation in schools and for the general public through the release of music and by providing concerts.

David's school concerts aim to encourage and support faith formation through stimulating reflection by singing and moving to scriptural based songs. Friendly dialogue, with the occasional 'dad joke', also help to engage student thinking around Christian themes.

Based on Luke 4: 14-22, Flow Spirit Flow reflects on Jesus reading the scroll of the prophet Isaiah in His hometown of Nazareth, basically reading His mission statement. This song was written with the sacrament of Confirmation in mind, as Year 6 classes I previously taught didn’t have any songs relating to this key passage of scripture.
