Clothed in Christ
Clothed in Christ 3:370:00/3:37
With David being booked out for his Mondays in Semester One 2021, he was blessed to be spreading the gospel through his music throughout a variety of schools in New South Wales, Victoria and the Australian Capital Territory. But now, with most of Australia locked down and live music off limits with COVID regulations, virtual concerts, using Zoom or Google Meet technologies is something DEMusic is pivoting towards. If your school, or classes within your school, are interested in experimenting with this format, or if you're keen to book in a live show for 2022, please contact David using the contact link below.
Looking towards 2022, hoping that we get back to some normality like the first half of this year, David will be available again for live concerts on Mondays throughout the school year and also on Fridays for Term One. See his availability below using his 2022 bookings link.
DEMusic is now offering 30 minute, virtual dance along concerts on Mondays and Fridays for 2021 and beyond. These can be done via Zoom or other platforms your school use, and are priced at $200 for up to 200 participants (though I can cater for larger audiences, just let me know). These can be either all originals of mine or I could mix in a few Christmas carols too for later in the year.
Speaking of Christmas, if COVID restrictions ease, I am now offering 1 hour Christmas concerts. These would entail me performing a mix of my originals and some Christmas carols, including my upcoming cover of 'Angels We Have Heard on High'. Every second song would encompass some dance/movement, with a listening/movement game held towards the middle of the session. When I perform 'Be the Light' towards the end of the set, I would try to change the lyrics to include your school's motto (if possible) for the second verse. The concert concludes with a medley of bits of most songs and each child would receive a bookmark to remember the occasion. I would bring all my own equipment to perform, all I would require is for your school to set up a device to run the lyric slides on a screen/projector.
If your school is interested in any of these offers, please contact me via the 'Contact Us' page on this site or via my email. Availability can be viewed on the link below:
Established in 2019 and based from Wagga Wagga, New South Wales, David Enever Music (DEMusic) is run by singer/songwriter David Enever, an Australian primary school teacher with over a decade of experience in Victorian and New South Wales Schools. It aims to assist in Christian faith formation in schools and for the general public through the release of music and by providing concerts.
David's school concerts aim to encourage and support faith formation through stimulating reflection by singing and moving to scriptural based songs. Friendly dialogue, with the occasional 'dad joke', also help to engage student thinking around Christian themes.

Based on Acts 3:1-10, this ballad recalls when Peter and John heal a cripple man begging for alms on the streets of Jerusalem. It challenges us all to rise and walk through the grace of the Holy Spirit, to overcome the challenges daily life throws at us. The timing of this release happened at a time where David himself needed to ‘Rise and Walk’ whilst enduring a bout of depression in his life.
Based on John 21: 1-14, this ballad recalls the miracle of the fish, where Simon Peter and other disciples were fishing all night, catching nothing, to be greeted by Jesus on the shore upon their return and asked to cast out one more time to the right. We often feel disheartened like these disciples were, but are still challenged to ‘Cast out to the right’ and not give up the fight.
‘Mum, I Love You Everyday’ was written as a Mother’s Day reflection. I got sick of listening to the ‘Mama’ song by the Spice Girls each year at my school for Mother’s Day liturgy so I reflected a bit on mothers while putting my daughter down to bed one night; my mum, my wife, grandmothers and mothers I’ve come across through teaching. An acoustic version was originally uploaded to YouTube in 2020 with actions for schools, but the full mix, complete with a kids choir and yobbo choir was recorded and produced in Flying Fox Studios throughout late 2020 and early 2021.
