From the recording Be the Hope
Based from Psalm 96 & Ephesians 6:10, Sing That Praise was a song written during a bout of depression I experienced in 2021. My Mother told me that a good way to battle depression was to sing praise, so after listening to ‘Garment of Praise’ by David Ingles a tonne of times I decided I better write my own praise song. I hope it finds you well. Get back up again and sing that praise!

Lyrics
When you think you’re down and out, go sing that praise
When you’ve think your luck’s run out, go sing that praise
When you’ve lost that hope, and you cannot cope, you’re just plain down and blue
Get back up again and sing that praise
You’ve been turned down again, go sing that praise
When someone’s done you wrong,go sing that praise
When’s it’s just not fair, and you just don’t care, you’re knocked down to the floor
Get back up again and sing that praise
Bridge:
Praise Him through the darkness
Praise Him through the rain
Praise the Lord above us
Even through the pain
(Key change)
Put on that armour of God, go sing that praise
Take that shield of faith, go sing that praise
Get your feet all shod and your breastplate on and your helmet done up strong
Get back up again and sing that praise
When you think you’re down and out, go sing that praise
When you’ve think your luck’s run out, go sing that praise
When you’ve lost that hope, and you cannot cope and you just plain down and blue
Get back up again and sing that praise
When you think you’re down and out, go sing that praise
When you’ve think your luck’s run out, go sing that praise
When you’ve lost that hope, and you cannot cope and you just plain down and blue
Get back up again and sing that praise
I say get back up again and sing that praise
