With Christmas closing in, it is my hope that my version of Angels We Have Heard on High finds everyone well and helps them to reflect on the true meaning of the season. This ballad tells the story of the shepherds hearing about Jesus’ birth through angels singing, drawing them towards the stable in Bethlehem to come and adore the new born king.
With some tight drumming, awesome lead guitar and catchy acoustic guitar runs, the production came up really nice musically for this song. Some nice harmonies also come into play to enhance the lead vocals. So gloria, in excelsis deo; glory to God in the highest!

[Verse 1]
Angels we have heard on high
Sweetly singing o'er the plains
And the mountains in reply
Echoing their joyous strains

Glo--------------------ria
in excelsis De--o

[Verse 2]
Shepherds, why this jubilee?
Why your joyous strains prolong?
What the gladsome tidings be
Which inspire your heavenly song?

Him whose birth the angels sing
Come, adore on bended knee
Christ the Lord, the newborn King
